Produce Department Remodel at Turnip Truck

When Turnip Truck in Nashville, TN, wanted to refresh its produce department in time for its big 5-year anniversary celebration, we were excited and ready! In just one late night and one early morning, Turnip Truck owner John Dyke along with Brian Dey from Four Seasons Produce and Tom Foss from Carlson AirFlo installed, merchandised, and transformed the entire space into a gorgeous, state-of the art produce destination.

Wet Rack Remodel with AirBins

Our favorite part? All new AirBins in the wet rack section! These shelves are precision-crafted from solid anodized aluminum with an innovative one-piece design that combines product sides and back brackets, making it a cinch to install a sleek new profile. The difference is night and day – just look at these before-and-after photos.

“The AirBin Shelving System is great! Super simple, nice bins, super light, easy to clean. Super easy to install with built-in sides to keep product in. Just an awesome system for wet racks.

The really cool thing about it is the adjustable product stop. No more filler cubes or baskets in back. There’s a super simple divider that you simply put at the depth you want and screw it in. If you have a sale on kale or something of volume, all you do is take out the product stop and simply slide it back to the depth that you need.

This is totally for us wet rack geeks. Get these in. Totally awesome!”

The Premier Pull-Out Bins helped reorganize the mushroom display, creating better breaks and making mushrooms a standout category for the store. In addition, we upgraded the pre-packaged salad set to include three rows of ELITE Self Facers.

The new ELITE Self Facers drastically improved salad presentation—making them more visible, neat, and organized. Now, this section is easy to stock, shoppable, and labor-efficient, with product always facing the customer.
